Abstract

In May 2018, the Maluku Utara Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) was 98.38 or decreased by 1.34 percent compared to the previous month (April 2018) which was 99.72.
  • From 10 (ten) Provinces in eastern Indonesia, NTP May 2018 to April 2018 there was an increase of NTP in 8 (eight) provinces, where the biggest increase of NTP occurred in Sulawesi Barat was 2.23 percent. While 2 (two) other provinces namely Maluku Utara and Papua Province decreased NTP respectively - each 1.34 percent and 0.05 percent.
  • NTP nationally increased from April 2018 to May 2018 from 101.61 to 101.99 or up by 0.37 percent.
  • In May 2018, Maluku Utara Province experienced rural inflation of 1.64 percent due to the rise in household consumption index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in May 2018 was 0.19 percent due to an increase in the price index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
  • Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of Maluku Utara Province in May 2018 was 111.43 or decreased 0.11 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (April 2018) which was 111.55.
