Abstract

1. Export Development
The export value of Maluku Utara Province in July 2018 amounted to US $ 72.32 million, an increase of 182.49 percent compared to June 2018 which was valued at US $ 25.60 million.
  • Maluku Utara exports in July 2018 are in the form of iron and steel goods (HS 72) and ore, crust and metal ash (HS 26) to China, Taiwan, South Korea and Ukraine.
  • Cumulatively, Maluku Utara exports from January to July 2018 amounted to US $ 339.21 million, an increase of 215.86 percent compared to the January-July 2017 period of US $ 107.39 million.
  • Cumulatively, Maluku Utara's export volume from January to July 2018 was 5.84 million tons, an increase of 978.26 percent compared to January-July 2017 which was 541.62 thousand tons.
  • Indonesia's export value in July 2018 reached US $ 16.24 billion, an increase of 25.19 percent compared to exports in June 2018. Likewise compared to July 2017, it increased by 19.33 percent.
  • Cumulatively, Indonesia's export value from January to July 2018 reached US $ 104.24 billion, an increase of 11.35 percent over the same period in 2017.

    The import value of Maluku Utara Province in July 2018 amounted to US $ 19.05 million, an increase of 89.69 percent compared to June 2018 which was valued at US $ 10.05 million.
  • The volume of Maluku Utara imports in July 2018 reached 7.05 thousand tons or decreased by 89.66 percent compared to June 2018 which amounted to 68.18 thousand tons.
  • In July 2018, Maluku Utara Province imported 12 categories of goods with the largest import value in the mechanical machinery / aircraft (HS 84) category valued at US $ 12.57 million.
