Abstract

Human development as a measure of overall development performance is formed through a basic three-dimensional approach; namely long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent livelihood. All indicators representing these three dimensions are summarized in a single value, namely the Human Development Index (IPM). The publication of the Human Development Index for Central Halmahera Regency 2023 was prepared in order to place the human dimension as a central point in development, so that it is hoped that the regions will have indicators that serve as a measure of development achievements, especially for efforts to improve the quality of human life.
