Abstract

In April 2018, Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Utara Province was 99.72 or decreased 0.86 percent compared to the previous month (March 2018) which was at 100.58.
  • From 10 (ten) Provinces in eastern Indonesia, NTP April 2018 to March 2018 increased NTP in six provinces, where the largest increase of NTP occurred in Sulawesi Tengah by 1.01 percent. While the other four provinces of Maluku Utara, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Utara and Papua decreased respectively NTP by 0.86 percent, 0.48 percent, 0.42 percent and 0.36 percent. NTP nationally decreased from March 2018 to April 2018 from 101.94 to 101.61 or down by 0.32 percent.
  • In April 2018, Maluku Utara Province experienced a 0.76 percent rural inflation caused by rising household consumption index on seven expenditure groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in April 2018 was 0.04 percent due to an increase in the price index on six expenditure groups.
  • Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) Maluku Utara April 2018 amounted to 111.55 or decreased 0.38 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (March 2018) which amounted to 111.97.
