Abstract

In September 2018, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Utara Province amounted to 98.94 or decreased by 0.47 percent when compared to the previous month (August 2018) which amounted to 99.41.
  • Of the 10 (ten) provinces in Eastern Indonesia, September 2018 NTP against August 2018 there was an increase in NTP in 6 (six) provinces, namely Sulawesi Utara, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara, Gorontalo and Papua Barat, each of 1, 06 percent, 0.11 percent, 0.11 percent, 0.52 percent, 0.99 percent and 0.24 percent. While 4 (four) other provinces experienced a decline in NTP, where the largest NTP decline occurred in Maluku Utara by 0.47 percent.
  • Nationally, NTP has increased from August 2018 to September 2018, from 102.56 to 103.17 or an increase of 0.59 percent.
  • In September 2018, Maluku Utara Province experienced rural inflation of -0.08 percent (deflation) due to the decline in the household consumption index in the expenditure group of Foodstuffs.
  • National Rural Inflation in September 2018 amounted to -0.59 percent (deflation) which was caused by the decline in the price index in the expenditure group of Foodstuffs.
  • Maluku Utara Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in September 2018 was 111.98 or down 0.66 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP (August 2018) of 112.72
