Abstract

In July 2018, the Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Utara was 98.92 or an increase of 0.42 percent compared to the previous month (June 2018) of 98.50
  • From 10 (ten) Provinces in eastern Indonesia, NTP July 2018 to June 2018 increased NTP in 2 (two) provinces, Gorontalo and Maluku Utara respectively 0.12 percent and 0.42 percent respectively. While 8 (eight) other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP where the largest NTP decline occurred in Sulawesi Tenggara of 1.05 percent.
  • National NTP declined from June 2018 to July 2018 from 102.04 to 101.66, or down by 0.37 percent.
  • In July 2018, Maluku Utara Province experienced a 0.40 percent rural inflation caused by a rise in household consumption index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in July 2018 was 0.82 percent due to an increase in the price index in 7 (seven) spending groups.
  • Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of Maluku Utara Province in July 2018 was 112.79 or up 0.69 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (June 2018) which was 112.02.
