Abstract

In October 2018, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province amounted to 97.99 or decreased by 0.97 percent compared to the previous month (September 2018) which amounted to 98.94.
  • Of the 10 (ten) Provinces in Eastern Indonesia, NTP October 2018 to September 2018 there was an increase in NTP in 4 (four) provinces namely North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Maluku and West Papua respectively by 0.15 percent, 0.21 percent, 0.47 percent and 0.24 percent. While 6 (six) other provinces experienced a decline in NTP, where the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Central Sulawesi by 1.07 percent.
  • Nationally, NTP has decreased from September 2018 to October 2018, from 103.17 to 103.02 or down by 0.14 percent.
  • In October 2018, North Maluku Province experienced rural inflation of 0.12 percent due to the increase in the household consumption index in almost all expenditure groups except the Foodstuffs group.
  • National Rural Inflation in October 2018 was 0.35 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in all expenditure groups.
  • The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) of North Maluku Province in October 2018 was 110.58 or down 1.25 percent compared to NTUP the previous month (September 2018) which amounted to 111.98.
