Abstract

North Maluku's economy in quarter III-2018 based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices reached Rp9 417.7 billion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp6 386.6 billion.

North Maluku's economy in quarter III-2018 when compared to the third quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) grew 8.17 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business sectors, with the highest growth achieved in the Processing Industry Business Field which grew by 20.90 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the foreign export component, which grew by 155.43 percent.

North Maluku's economy in quarter III-2018 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) increased by 4.14 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Processing Industry Business Field of 31.59 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the highest growth in the foreign export component was 77.82 percent.

Economy of North Maluku in the first quarter of III-2018 (c-to-c) grew 7.80 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business sectors, with the highest growth achieved in the Manufacturing Industry Business Field, which grew by 21.84 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the foreign export component which grew by 147.64 percent.
