Abstract

In November 2018, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province amounted to 96.65 or decreased by 1.37 percent compared to the previous month (October 2018) which amounted to 97.99.
  • Of the 10 (ten) Provinces in Eastern Indonesia, NTP November 2018 to October 2018 there was an increase in NTP in 5 (five) provinces namely South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua each of 1.00 percent, 0 , 05 percent, 1.74 percent, 0.39 percent and 0.31 percent. While the other 5 (five) provinces experienced a decline in NTP where the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Maluku by 1.37 percent.
  • Nationally, NTP has increased from October 2018 to November 2018, from 103.02 to 103.12 or up by 0.09 percent.
  • In November 2018, North Maluku Province experienced rural inflation of -0.13 percent (deflation) caused by a decline in the household consumption index in the Foodstuffs and housing group.
  • National Rural Inflation in November 2018 was 0.12 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in almost all expenditure groups except the foodstuffs group.
  • The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) of North Maluku Province in November 2018 was 108.79 or decreased 1.62 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (October 2018) which amounted to 110.58.
