Abstract

In December 2018, the Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Utara Province amounted to 96.13 or decreased by 0.54 percent compared to the previous month (November 2018) which amounted to 96.65.
  • Of the 10 (ten) Provinces in Eastern Indonesia, the NTP of December 2018 against November 2018 there was an increase in NTP in 4 (four) provinces namely Central Sulawesi, Maluku, West Papua and Papua respectively by 0.02 percent, 0.81 percent , 0.46 percent and 0.33 percent. While 6 (six) other provinces experienced a decline in NTP, where the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi at 2.34 percent.
  • Nationally, NTP has increased from November 2018 to December 2018, from 103.12 to 103.16, up by 0.04 percent.
  • In December 2018, Maluku Utara Province experienced rural inflation of 0.54 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in all expenditure groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in December 2018 was 0.58 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in all expenditure groups.
  • The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in Maluku Utara Province in December 2018 was 108.70, down 0.08 percent compared to NTUP the previous month (November 2018) which amounted to 108.79.
