Abstract

1. Export Development

The export value of North Maluku Province in November 2018 was US $ 83.89 million, an increase of 60.40 percent compared to October 2018 which was valued at US $ 52.30 million.

North Maluku exports in November 2018 were in the form of iron and steel goods (HS 72) and ore, crust and metal ash (HS 26) to China.

Cumulatively, North Maluku's exports from January to November 2018 amounted to US $ 630.13 million, experiencing a 185.83 percent increase compared to the January-November 2017 period of US $ 220.46 million.

Cumulatively, North Maluku's export volume from January to November 2018 amounted to 10.37 million tons, an increase of 463.40 percent compared to January, 2017 which amounted to 1.84 million tons.

The value of Indonesia's exports in November 2018 reached US $ 14.83 billion or decreased 6.69 percent compared to October 2018 exports. Likewise compared to November 2017 it decreased 3.28 percent.

Cumulatively, Indonesia's export value from January to November 2018 reached US $ 165.81 billion, an increase of 7.69 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

2. Import Development

The import value of North Maluku Province in November 2018 was US $ 29.36 million, a decrease of 52.73 percent compared to October 2018 which was valued at US $ 62.12 million.

The volume of imports of North Maluku in November 2018 amounted to 35.32 thousand tons or decreased by 71.22 percent compared to October 2018 which amounted to 122.76 thousand tons.

In November 2018, North Maluku Province imported 20 classes of goods with the largest import value in the category of machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) worth US $ 11.04 million.

North Maluku imported goods in November 2018 came from China.

The import value of North Maluku in January-November 2018 was US $ 263.90 million, an increase of 114.85 percent compared to January 2017 which was valued at US $ 122.83 million.

North Maluku's import volume from January to November 2018 was 426.53 thousand tons, an increase of 57.38 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

Indonesia's import value in November 2018 reached US $ 16.88 billion, down 4.47 percent compared to October 2018, compared to November 2017, up 11.68 percent.
