Abstract

    The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Maluku Utara Province in quarter I-2018 was 102.25, meaning that the consumer's economic condition increased compared to the previous quarter. The level of consumer optimism in the first quarter of 2018 was lower than the previous quarter (index value 102.71).
  • The improving economic conditions felt by consumers in Q1/2018 were driven by an increase in household income with an index value of 101.10 and a rise in consumption volume of goods/services with an index value of 107.74. While the purchasing power seen from the index of inflation influence does not affect the level of consumption with the index value of 100.06.
  • The value of North Maluku Province ITK in quarter II-2018 is estimated at 122.55, meaning that consumer economic condition in the next quarter is expected to increase.
  • Improved economic conditions in quarter II-2018 due to estimates of an increase in household income.
