Maluku Utara Province Tendency Index (ITK) in the second quarter of 2018 was 129.95, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers increased compared to the previous quarter. The level of consumer optimism in the second quarter of 2018 was higher than the previous quarter (index value of 102.25).
  • Improved economic conditions felt by consumers in the second quarter of 2018 were driven by an increase in household income with an index value of 145.75 and an increase in the volume of consumption of goods / services with an index value of 129.23. While the purchasing power seen from the index of the influence of inflation does not affect the level of consumption with an index value of 117.31.
  • The value of Maluku Utara Province's ITK in the third quarter of 2018 is estimated at 91.26, meaning that the economic condition of consumers in the coming quarter is expected to decline.
  • The decline in economic conditions in quarter III-2018 was due to an estimated decline in household income and plans to purchase durable goods.
