Abstract

1. Development of Export
The export value of Maluku Utara Province in June 2018 amounted to US $ 25.60 million, decreased 67.27 percent compared to May 2018 which was valued at US $ 78.22 million.
  • Exports of Maluku Utara in June 2018 in the form of goods class of ore, crust, and metal ash (HS 26) to China.
  • Cumulatively, Maluku Utara exports from January to June 2018 amounted to US $ 266.89 million, an increase of 214.50 percent compared to the January-June 2017 period of US $ 84.86 million.
  • Cumulatively, the export volume of Maluku Utara from January to June 2018 amounted to 4.88 million tons, an increase of 1,259.25 percent compared to January-June 2017 which amounted to 359 thousand thousand tons.
  • Indonesia's export value in June 2018 reached US $ 13.00 billion or down 19.80 percent compared to May 2018. Meanwhile, compared to June 2017, it increased by 11.47 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the value of Indonesian exports from January to June 2018 reached US $ 88.02 billion, an increase of 10.03 percent over the same period in 2017.

    The import value of Maluku Utara Province in June 2018 amounted to US $ 10.05 million, decreased 71.57 percent compared to May 2018 which was valued at US $ 35.33 million.
  • The volume of imports of Maluku Utara in June 2018 reached 68.18 thousand tons or an increase of 93.21 percent compared to May 2018 which amounted to 35.29 thousand tons.
  • In June 2018, Maluku Utara Province imported 17 (seventeen) categories of goods with the largest import value in the mineral fuel category (HS 27) valued at US $ 8.62 million.
  • Maluku Utara import goods in June 2018 came from Australia and China.
  • The import value of Maluku Utara in January-June 2018 amounted to US $ 113.42 million or an increase of 211.09 percent compared to imports from January to June 2017 amounting to US $ 36.46 million.
  • The volume of imports of Maluku Utara from January to June 2018 amounted to 231.40 thousand tons or an increase of 80.51 percent compared with the same period in 2017.
  • The import value of Indonesia in June 2018 amounted to US $ 11.26 billion or down 36.27 percent compared to May 2018, but when compared to June 2017 it increased 12.66 percent.
