Abstract

In January 2019, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province amounted to 96.19 or increased by 0.06 percent compared to the previous month (December 2019) which amounted to 96.13.
  • Of the 10 (ten) Provinces in Eastern Indonesia, NTP in January 2019 against December 2018 there was an increase in NTP in 4 (four) provinces namely North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, North Maluku and West Papua respectively by 0.02 percent, 0, 75 percent, 0.06 percent and 0.56 percent. While 6 (six) other provinces experienced a decline in NTP, where the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Papua by 1.58 percent.
  • Nationally, NTP has increased from December 2018 to January 2019, from 103.16 to 103.33 or up by 0.16 percent.
  • In January 2019, North Maluku Province experienced rural inflation of 0.73 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in all expenditure groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in January 2019 was 0.26 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in all expenditure groups.
  • The exchange rate of agricultural household businesses (NTUP) in North Maluku Province in January 2019 was 109.35 or increased 0.60 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (December 2018) which was 108.70.
