Abstract

Maluku Utara's economy in quarter II-2018 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp8 932.8 billion and on the basis of constant 2010 prices reached Rp6 132.6 billion.

Maluku Utara economy in the second quarter of 2018 when compared to the second quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) grew 7.31 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business sectors, with the highest growth achieved by the Manufacturing Industry Business Field which grew by 14.76 percent. In terms of Expenditures, the highest growth was achieved by the Foreign Export Component which grew by 119.42 percent.

Maluku Utara Economic Quarter II-2018 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) increased by 2.03 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth in the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Sector was 8.59 percent. While from the expenditure side, the highest growth in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component was 33.91 percent.

Maluku Utara economy in semester I-2018 (c-to-c) grew 7.60 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by all business sectors, with the highest growth achieved by the Manufacturing Industry Business Field which grew by 22.45 percent. In terms of Expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Foreign Export Component which grew by 140.43 percent.
