Abstract

In February 2019, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province was 95.75 or decreased by 0.45 percent compared to the previous month (January 2019) which amounted to 96.19.
  • Of the 10 (ten) Provinces in Eastern Indonesia, the NTP in February 2019 against January 2019 there was an increase in NTP in 3 (three) provinces, namely Gorontalo, West Papua and Papua, respectively by 0.65 percent, 0.08 percent and 0, 56 percent. While 7 (seven) other provinces experienced a decline in NTP where the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Central Sulawesi at 1.47 percent.
  • Nationally, the NTP has decreased from January 2019 to February 2019, from 103.33 to 102.94 or down by 0.37 percent.
  • In February 2019, North Maluku Province experienced rural inflation of 0.12 percent due to an increase in the household consumption index in several expenditure groups, especially the processed food, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco and health groups.
  • National Rural Inflation in February 2019 was -0.29 percent (deflation) caused by a decrease in the household consumption index in the food expenditure group.
  • The exchange rate of the Agricultural Household Business (NTUP) of North Maluku Province in February 2019 was 109.14 or fell 0.20 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (January 2019) which amounted to 109.35.
