Abstract

1. Export Development
The export value of North Maluku Province in October 2018 was US $ 52.30 million, a decrease of 12.35 percent compared to September 2018 which was valued at US $ 59.67 million.
  • North Maluku exports in October 2018 consisted of iron and steel goods (HS 72) and ore, crust and metal ash (HS 26) to China and South Korea.
  • Cumulatively, North Maluku's exports from January to October 2018 amounted to US $ 546.24 million, an increase of 201.11 percent compared to the January-October 2017 period of US $ 181.41 million.
  • Cumulatively, the export volume of North Maluku in January-October 2018 was 9.46 million tons, an increase of 533.02 percent compared to January-October 2017 which was 1.49 million tons.
  • The value of Indonesia's exports in October 2018 reached US $ 15.80 billion, an increase of 5.87 percent compared to September 2018 exports. Meanwhile, compared to October 2017 it increased 3.59 percent.
  • Cumulatively, Indonesia's export value from January to October 2018 reached US $ 150.88 billion, an increase of 8.84 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
